Robert L. Winters III, 1996-2003, Stover

Robert Lary Winters III, 7, died Thursday, Dec. 11, 2003, at the University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia.

He was born Aug. 13, 1996, in Jefferson City, a son of Robert Winters Jr. and Crystal Cantwell.

Robert was a student at Morgan County R-I School in Stover.

Survivors include his mother, of the home; his father, of Versailles; a brother, Matthew Winters, of the home; a half brother, Austin Menning, of the home; paternal grandparents, Bob and Susan Winters, of Versailles; maternal grandparents, Mark and Donna Cantwell, of Versailles; maternal great-grandparents, Jim and Sue Cantwell, of Versailles, Lloyd and Kathryn Payton, of Miami, Okla., and Doug and Anite Menning, of Stover.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles, with the Rev. Roy Bennett officiating. Burial will be in the Versailles Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Ronald McDonald House.
